1994 F-350 OBS crew cab IDI turbo diesel

Very solid old classic Ford that runs nice and is rust-free. There is no rust anywhere. This pickup has the 7.3 IDI turbo diesel. Some people prefer these to the 7.3 powerstroke, because it has no computers on the engine. This pickup is the standard crew cab long bed wheelbase, but it has a 12′ flatbed on it. I was going to take about 3-4′ off the bed if i kept it, but make it so I could put that section back on it needed. You can haul alot on a flatbed this big. A utv, quads, motorcycles, lumber, whatever.

MECHANICAL:
This is a nice running 7.3 ford diesel. It has NO blowby. It does not smoke blue at all, even at cold start. It has no leaks. The injection pump is rebuilt. The oil cooler did leak but was rebuilt. It has new glow plugs. The glow plugs are currently setup to be activated from a push button. Many people do that mod on these old diesels. This pickup has an aluminum radiator. The truck has no abnormal sounds or mechanical issues. I am an experienced mechanic and diesel mechanic. There is no oil in the water or water in the oil. There are no overheating issues or head gasket issues. These motors are very durable. It has the factory ford turbo system and still has the factory ford muffler! These motors run better with an aftermarket exhaust system though. This does need the tailpipe repaired but it’s usable as-is. There are many other mods you can do to the idi motors for increased performance but they run good when stock. The overdrive automatic works nicely. There are no abnormalities in the transmission or rearend. Brakes work good. The tires are all matching and in nice shape. 235/85r16 10 ply e-rated tires. This has chrome simulators (hubcaps). All the lights work as they should. Wipers and heater work as they should. Fresh oil change. This has the overdrive automatic that works fine. They do make lift kits and levelling kits for these trucks if you want the 4×4 look and added clearance.

BODY:
The body on the truck is in nice shape. There is no rust at all. There are a couple small dings, but the body is very straight for the most part and the paint cleans up nicely. The paint looks 100% original. No sign of an collision work. No overspray or bondo anywhere. All windows and doors function as they should. It would look better with the flatbed shortened, in my opinion, but that’s your call.

INTERIOR:
The interior is in decent shape. The carpet needs replaced or professionally cleaned. The interior has no odd smells or anything. There was no animal hair in it when I bought it and no smoke smells. Neither seat is ripped under the seat covers. The dash has the usual cracking. The original radio works lol! The truck needs a new headliner. This is common in these trucks and headliners are readily available if you want to replace it.
